Ukiyo House has always been about more than a place to stay. The owners are collectors at heart — drawn to art and makers and ideas that don’t always fit neatly into a category. The pieces scattered throughout the house reflect that instinct: considered, often unexpected, always chosen because something about them couldn’t be ignored.
This page is an extension of that same impulse. The artists we work with and support, the makers doing something worth paying attention to, the local culture and community that give this corner of the Fleurieu its particular character. We try to tell their stories properly — not a tag and a mention, but a genuine spotlight on the work and the people behind it.
